Dr. Matthew Gemp is a dental professional knowledgeable in dental oncology. He can play an important role throughout cancer treatment by preventing and managing mouth sores, dental needs, oral pain and infections. As a member of the patient’s oncology care team, Dr. Gemp communicates directly with the medical oncologist, radiation oncologist and other team members to provide optimal comprehensive care before, during, and after cancer treatments.
Dr.Matthew Gemp, Prosthodontist, has extensive knowledge treating patients battling cancer. At the beginning of his career, Dr. Gemp, was awarded a Fellowship Award by the Saint George Oral Cancer Society in May 1982. He continued to further his knowledge and training with cancer patients at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey, Philadelphia Veterans Administration Medical Center, MD Anderson Cancer Institute and University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He continues to hold hospital affiliations with the Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston, Texas.
